Mark Squilla: Our Neighborhood Fighter

Mark Squilla was born and raised in our district, in the same neighborhood where he and his wife, Brigid, brought up their four children.

As a neighborhood activist, Mark led an effort to revitalize Burke Playground and fought to secure the resources our local fire and police need to do their jobs.

As our councilman, Mark has worked tirelessly for us in City Hall. He’s earned a reputation as one of the hardest-working and most accessible members of council. And he’s never far from home, attending multiple community events and meetings every night – from South Philly, Center City, Chinatown, Northern Liberties, Fishtown, Kensington to Port Richmond.
